Front and back boards are wrinkled at the spine as well as slightly scuffed and soiled. Edges and corners are bumped and scuffed and there is a small water stain to front cover. There is an old ink name and price to endpaper, and the pages are age-toned throughout. Inner front hinge is beginning to split. French text. This is the standard critical edition of Philippe’s Bestiary. It is a composite text with standardized orthography, using the Cotton manuscript.
