Good, joints beginning to split, light scattered mostly marginal dampstains, single wormhole though the whole volume. French text.15 maps of the Americas, 16 maps of Asia and 12 maps of Africa. These small maps were cut from Du Val’s rare large continental compilation maps, expertly re-margined, and assembled into a bound volume with text and tables in manuscript. Includes the map of Mexico showing California as an island. Eastern North American maps of Canada and New France,New Sweden and New Denmark, Virginia and New Holland.
