Moderate wear to covers, dampstain at bottom margin through entire volume, still a tight good plus copy. Contains instructions for everything from calculations to morality and numerous tables for a variety of purposes, including material strength, wind force, squares, square roots, area, and liquid capacity. This is an early edition, but the first edition was likely published in 1849. A nice conversation piece for anyone with a workshop.
