This tale of the World War I Italian campaign was banned by Nazis in Germany and Fascists in Italy. This book also has the dubious honor of being one of the books banned by the Boston police department. No collection of banned books is complete without this title, and collectors of anti-fascist and anti-nazi literature should also have this title in their collection. Of course, it will also be at home in any collection of the author’s work, and makes a great placeholder copy for the collector on a quest for a first edition. weight: 1.2 lb.
