Good, heavy worming to spine affecting only a small corner of the first few pages, front and back hinges loose but attached, ffep detached, many pages dampstained, scattered marginalia, minor worming to last 5 leaves, final page repaired with no loss. Italian text. First volume (of 2) of Plutarch’s Lives printed by the Venetian printer noted for publishing books in the Italian vernacular.
