Dustjacket has been trimmed along the top, and the top front edge has a closed tear approximately 1 inch long. The bottom edge is bumped and slightly chipped. The back dustjacket panel is lightly soiled and dustjacket corners are scuffed. Previous seller’s sticker to top of back flap. Dustjacket spine is fading. Book spine is faded at the top, and there is small chip where the back board meets the bottom of the spine. Pages are lightly toned throughout. Emma Thayer wrote 60 mystery novels between 1919 and 1966, and she also partnered with her husband in the book cover design business “Decorative Designers” from 1896-1932.
