Very good, corners bumped and worn,. French text. Volume one contains 57 numbered engraved double pages plates. Volume three contains plates numbered 71-150. Volume four contains plates numbered 151-206 and three unnumbered plates of tables. 104 of the plates have maps, mostly colored, with text in the borders. Volume one features cosmology and geography. Volumes three and four feature historical geography. Signature of Mallet de Ferney on the endpapers. Likely from the library of Jacques-Andre Mallet, founder of the first observatory in Geneva.
