Two letters to Francis Fowler III of the Southern Comfort Corporation son of the famous Francis Fowler Jr. signed by Hoover’s secretary laid in. Also laid in a photograph of several people with Hoover seated on a boardwalk. First edition in English of the 1556 Latin classic on mining technology. The Hoover translation is noted for its accuracy and extensive footnotes and remains the standard English translation. Scarce – it is estimated that only about 1500 copies were printed.
