Midtown Nights Art Walk

Thursday will be the MidTown Nights Art Walk starting at Junkies to get your map and cup (for free hot chocolate). I will be upstairs at Maytans for a sneak preview of the Reno Pops next concert- Northern Lights (in case you did not know, I play violin with them). Our photographer will be there also with a photo exhibit of Northern Lights.

Book Signing with Lucia Jones, author of School Daze

Lucia Jones is a devout Christian, mother of four, grandmother of eleven, and a veteran elementary school teacher in the public school system of twenty-five-plus years. She has spent eighteen of those years teaching at a small public elementary school on an Indian reservation. Lucia lives in Northern Nevada with her husband, Tom. School Daze is written with a satirical bite and is tempered with comic relief. Its author, Lucia Jones, a teacher in the public school system, gives an up-close and personal look at the biggest issues plaguing the System today.

The Foothills Church Youth Group Presents “Magical Santa from Around the World”

11am and 7pm, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec 20th, 21st and 22nd.

Story Time at Zephyr Books with free milk and cookies!!

The Foothills Youth Group will be telling about Christmas in another country and reading a book. Free cookies and milk (and coffee for parents). Come in and enjoy a little half-hour presentation for the young and young at heart. Children will also be receiving a free book!
